Can anyone comment on the Schwinn Fastback LTD? Who makes their aluminum frames and are they just aluminum or a blend of metals? Who makes their full carbon fiber forks? The frame and fork are both desrcibed on the website as being Schwinn but I'm sure they're made elsewhere? Any comments appreciated as I am considering buying one?

I think the last year for a true Schwinn Fastback Limited (as in made by Schwinn) was 2001? Someone correct me if I am wrong here. But anyway, the really good limiteds were actually made by Schwinn. Then Schwinn went under and the top-flight bikes disappeared (doesn't fit Pacific's business model I guess!).

The forks were TIMEs (Millenium).
