Anyone have experiece selling frame/forks on this forum?

I put an ad up for some stuff and I had a buyer the day i put the ad up. its worth the few bucks

totally depends on what you think it's worth, and what it is, things sit for a long time if people put them up for too much, something to think about.

I sold a Bianchi frame and fork in 1 day last year, with at least 6 offers to buy it that day. I had it priced right, though. Too many people make the mistake of trying to sell frames/forks and other parts for near retail price. A good starting point is 50% of retail price, perhaps 60-70% if your frame is a desireable model (eg, Colnago, Litespeed) and in excellent condition. Used frames generally have no warranty protection and the buyer has to take a lot of risk purchasing sight unseen, so it's generally not wise to pay more than 50% retail.
