I had it priced right, though. Too many people make the mistake of trying to sell frames/forks and other parts for near retail price. A good starting point is 50% of retail price, perhaps 60-70% if your frame is a desireable model (eg, Colnago, Litespeed) and in excellent condition. Used frames generally have no warranty protection and the buyer has to take a lot of risk purchasing sight unseen, so it's generally not wise to pay more than 50% retail. |
