|they used to make MTB's.
below is their mid-range centaur equipped (yes it was around a whiles back in a different form), made from columbus max "bianco perlato" special from their 1988 catalogue.
never had an mtb but this did make me drool. no safety springs/shocks on this baby ......

|i was wondering the same thing ....
there isnt enough detail in the catalgue to quite see but it may be some arrangement used as im guessing it is tig welded up there. never seen anything like it on another bike, and certainly no other seat/stay/top tube lug that i know of.

Is it good just because it if DeRosa or Campy? If DeRosa MTB and Centaur MTB components are really that good, they would've stayed.
I do have to give them credit for being able to make a modern Huffy looking bike ten years back though..
