Man this guy is just annoying. Not even a good troll as far as trolls go. Now I have to wade through a ton of off-topic fake environmental posts. Go away Eugene! Back to the forest with you!

My issues are just as serious as any others issues on this board.

I agree with most of your views on the environment. I just wish you would get the hell off this board. You're annoying, and you aren't doing anything to help the cause by being here.
now kindly f*k off.
thank you
or at least post in non-cycling discussions (nm)ColnagoFE

It doesn't sound like you are on my team and share the same views that are vital to life on earth.

You're issues may be serious but they have nothing to do with this board. Cycling is not the answer to your environmental issues.

Take your issues to the non-cycling board or somewhere else completely.

Yes but cycling is part of the solution. Every little bit helps.

Try reading "The Skeptical Environmentalist: Measuring the Real State of the World" by Bjorn Lomborg. You might realize how common it is for environmental organizations to change numbers in order to make their case seem more severe than they realy are. THey prey on young people who do not know any better and try to make it sound like the world will end if their parents do not trade in their SUV for a pair of hemp sandals.

Normal weather patterns and fluxuations occur. THe environmentalists like to claim this is due to global warming caused by pollution. A small shift in ocean currents are usually more to blame. Dust from volcanos can even cause a drop in global temps. Similar shifts in global temperatures occurred long before the first internal combustion engine.

There are any reasons to ride a bicycle such as health and less dependence of foreign oil and cleaner air. Global warming is a myth used by environmental groups to raise money. If it was not a myth, I would be pointing cans of hairspray up in the sky hoping to get rid of this unseasonable cold spell that has taken hold of the northeast.

Try going to Greenpeace ot Earth First message boards. Mabye some of the brain-washed/dead people there will think you are smart. THis is a cycling forum. Stick to cycling, and stop preaching, or just go away.

Yikes! You're either weird or just trolling with that type of statement.

I am in the mood for warmer weather too. Maybe I can help you with those cans of hairspray.

BT, it is called sarcasm. You should try not to take things too literally. I could have said something like "I if a Greenpeace Activist came up to me and told the to "help stop Golbal Warming", I would kick him in his hippy nuts and tell him to dull the pain by sitting in a nearby snowbank." Would I do that or spray Aquanet into the sky, hell no!!! But I would probably scew a cute hippie chick if she agreed to take a shower ;)

In Boston we have had a very cold weather that has been bellow normal almost every day since Mid October. Monday it was only 20 degrees for a high and was near 0 overnight in some suburbs. I am an outdoorsman who enjoys cycling, golf and fly fishing. It is difficult to do any of these when it is in the 20's and roads are covered with snow and ice. It feels more like February here than December. Winter came a month early this year. The last thing I want to here is someone complaining about Global Warming on a cycling board.

I'm here in NH trying to train in this friggin cold stuff so I know what you're getting at with regards to the weather.

I was actually more concerned about the "global warming is a myth" statement. Didn't know if you were kidding or whether you felt that this was true. I understood that you were not going to stand outside and spray crap into the air. Although the thought of which would be warped, but funny.

I know the feeling with the weather, I hope you did not get hit too hard by the storm in NH. Lucily I was just sounth of the rain snow line and it ended up washing away much of the snow in Boston!!!

The book I mentioned is a good one and points out a lot of false facts that the envrironmentalists such as Al Gore use to try to make thier case. Many of these inaccuracies are used to support Global Warming. I am not saying there are not any environmental problems, there are pleanty. I just feel there are a bunch of radical groups that try to create panic in order to increase their membership and funding.
