By the year 2050, scientists estimate the global temperature will rise by up to 10 degrees.

By the year 2050, scientists expect the oceans of the world to rise one meter as a result of ice cap melting.

We can prevent this by riding more, and encouraging your friends and family to ride to their destinations too. If you are worried about your family on busy roads, write you Congressm and and local officials and demand paved bike paths. Of course, if we can get everyone off the road and onto bikes, it would clear up the roads and interstates for total use of bicycles. I would love to ride I-5 all the way up to Seattle.
Most folks here ride as much as they can!Humma Hah

But they'd much rather take the PCH up to Seattle!

I-5 ... eeech! Tear it up and make a wildlife corridor out of it! Dump the concrete off the coast and make a reef out of it!
I agree with you once again.GreenEugene

My plea is really to encourage their family, friends, and co workers to ride and park and sell their cars. I agree with you too about destroying I-5 and giving it back to nature. Either way, we will win when cars no longer drive on it forever in exchange to save mother earth.
