Is anyone else tired of ricky sach's self-righteousness?.....geesh, man, you build bikes, it seems like you have a nice job, and make a nice living, and you market yourself pretty well too (gotta get me some of those socks).......you're not mother theresa.

What has Richard ever done that qualifies as self-righteous? He builds great bikes by himself, and is quick to acknowledge that there are many other fine builders. He prefers to build steel bikes, and has spent years perfecting his work. He's quick to say that he's an anachronism, but he's doing it the way he wants to do it.

So what's he done to get you so worked up?

I have met him as well as Ben Serotta several times and I have to admit that both of them can be kind of arrogant jerks but, the dudes know their stuff. To be quite honest, if I could build bikes like them I would probably have the same attitude.
