Cool... the best winter I have had. Last year it was 75 for 3 weeks straigt in November. We only had some flurrys like 3 times but it never stayed more than a few hours. Yesterday we got 3 inches of snow and it even lasted overnight. It supposed to be in the 50s + this weekend but its nice to play around in the snow for a couple of hours.... and then have it leave so you can ride :) Hope you guys up north have alot of warm clothes... its gonna be more nasty when it hits NY, VT, Mass, and VA

It looks about 5" now and we're expected to get as much as 10" by the end of the day. I had forgo my usual bicycle commute and come in by truck. The place is a mess. It looks like the end of the season for me. Oh well, back to the gym for spin classes.
That's a lotta coke. nmEager Beagle

And it sucks! I hate snow. I have a long, long driveway and my neighbors snowblower is in the shop. It took me and my neighbor 1 1/2 hours this AM to dig out. I wanna move!

Hey man--FORTY-TWO EMPLOYEES called in to work on Wednesday, during the snowstorm. I woke up, looked out the window, saw nothing but white. My car was buried. I hooted, made some coffee, took a shower, and changed the tires on my now-hybridized super v 500 commuter/full-fendered/aero-barred/head and taillighted freak of nature bike. Changed the slicks to the knobby mountain tires. Put on the full fleece lined weatherproof EVERYTHING outfit, clipped in and headed to work! It was friggin ecstatic!! Did you know that when you get hit my a wall of slush it feels like being smacked full-force by several large wet beach towels?! I was passing cars and trucks left and right, either crashed into guardrails or just sideways, or going so slow I glided past em! Made it fine to work, changed, showered, realized virtually nobody was there because they called in cuz of the weather LOL~! My supervisor offered me a hotel rom at the Comfort Suites next to the Biltmore Square Mall that night free of charge, and I gladly took it. Hung up all my bike gear in the full size room, watched tv and slept on a king bed. It was great. Came in early next day (yesterday, technically) and got some overtime, rode home. Supervisors ribbed everyone today about "Scott RODE to work and y'uns called in!" Needless to say, my fellow-employee-popularity rating decreased somewhat. Can't wait for Sunday road bike ride finally, but also can't wait for more snow!

F$@k the elements muwahahahhaaa!!!!!
