Chiba Gloves - WORST customer service I've ever received!!!_sprocket_

I just wanted to inform everyone of the awful experience I had with Chiba Gloves. Here's the scoop...

I ordered a pair of gloves from their website for ~$40. The gloves lasted all of 1 month before busting at the seam, leaving a big hole in the palm! That's bad, but my experience only got worse once I started trying to contact customer service. I sent 3 e-mails. No response at all, so I tried their customer service phone number (1-888-438-3400). On 3 separate occasions, the lady answering this number told me she would e-mail me the form I needed to make a claim on getting the gloves repaired/replaced. This never happened, and now I'm sick of dealing with them.

Sorry for the rant, but I just wanted to warn everyone in case they were considering purchasing anything from Chiba.

Never heard of Chiba, but I just ordered a pair of wind resistant/proof winter cycling gloves from Performance. Original price was $24.99 on sale for about $15/$21 shipped. Have not received them yet and was holding off on commenting until they arrived and were test driven, but hey they had a deal going as a 2fer sale also on those gloves. Nashbar had something similar for $25. And No customer service problems!!!
