OK..so I saw something I shouldn't have, but I'm real happy about it.

My wife is buying me an ergobrain for Christmas. Very intuitive woman...I was once complaining that my Astrale was no longer dependable. I guess she asked around about what the "best" replacement would be and got the ergobrain answer. Yippee!!!

Now, how am I going to find a way to block out 2 hours of installment time on Christmas afternoon??????? ;)

Next year I'm going to drop a hint about needing a new frame...something about a C-40...yeah...that's the ticket

So what do you all expect to get from Santa????

from buying stuff that's on close-out before Christmas, of which there seems to be loads this year :-(

the stuff on close-outs I mean, not the large bill :-)

Personally, I mainly expect to see my girlfriend, whom I didn't meet during 3 months, my family, whom I didn't see in 1.5 years, and my country, which I didn't visit also in 1.5 years :-)

www.probikekit.com for clothing

I just got a cateye rechargeable set 25% down from www.cyclexpress.co.uk

For some reason everyone seems to be discounting Looks at the moment (thought I have all that I need of those).

GVHbikes.com is selling off bargain gruppos and built bikes at the moment too.

Spend spend spend...

My wife asked me the same thing. I've bought so much stuff this year (parts, accessories, a new bike, clothes, etc.) that I honestly could not think of anything.

Then I realized that even if Santa got me something great for the bike, he would still stick me with the bill. The Santa thing only works with your parents or someone else outside of your household.

I drive my wife nuts when it comes to xmas and bday because I typically just go out and buy the stuff I want (w/in reason $ wise). But this year I'm asking for TDF/Spring Classics DVDs, a truing stand and some bike books.

I signed up with Graham Baxter Tours -- they have a trip in support of Le Etape. They get you the entry, and they get you there, with a hotel. I'm stoked....

My SO likes to see me in tight shorts and jerseys, so she thought (on my prodding) that this would work very well, complete with matching shorts.

I wonder if I'll even be able to get out of the house wearing this!

I still wear for special rides, a genuine 1960's Molteni jersey (with chest pockets of course)that was given to me by an old pro. It's a glorious item of clothing though it's a bit faded and has plenty of moth holes in it. I'd love to know where to obtain a woollen replacement. Tried some bloke in Switzerland I think it was, but don't get any response from emails. Any ideas where to obtain wool jerseys?

They are reproductions made by Woolistic.

They also have a few others made by D'Alessandro. Here is the link

http://www.worldcycling.com

Then click on the Technical Wear link on the left and then again on the Woolistic or D'Alessandro link on the right.

Very nicely done IMO. Spendy but very cool none the less.
