|Well, after much deliberation, I decided to contact Giro concerning the crack in my helmet after Tig brought the "flaw" in some Pneumo's to my attention. I got a customer service address to send my 2002 helmet to for a free inspection. After 4 days, I just got a 2003 USPS Giro pNeumo as a replacement overnighted to my door. Now, I know some folks helmets were not cracked, however, those who did have a craked lid should contact Giro for the inspection: email@example.com
I hope this helps a few cyclists keep thier brains on the inside where they belong! This also great customer service from Bell sports/Giro.
