I just found out the hockey tournament is in your area. We're staying at the Homewood Suites at I-45 and mile marker 29. I plan on coming down on Friday night and can ride Saturday morning. If you're availible, how about a ride? Maybe MXL02 can join us.

If it is in Texas, it has to be big.

...There's no official number, how many you expect? If you wanna post an "Official" thread on it, I'll lock it at the top. Y'know, all the pertinent information date, place, organizer email, etc...

I can send you (I mean y'all) some Swag, no problem. (We don't have much, but I can scrounge up somethin').

Thanks Gregg, so far it's Tig, MXL02 and myself. The ride is going to be Saturday Dec 7 in Clear Lake, TX. We'll get location and time. Email me at and I'll originize the ride.

Thanks again,

I'm not sure where mile marker 29 exactly is, but it sounds close. I looked up Homewood Suites for Houston, but didn't find one that is on I-45. There is one on Bay Area Blvd in Clear Lake that is about 1000 feet from my house. Let me know which one you'll be at so I can come up with some directions to a ride. Let me know what kind of group you guys want to go with, a large mixed group that seperates into different paces as the ride progresses, but has plenty of interesting people (Space City Cycling Club), or a small group of better skilled riders/racers with enough discipline to stick to a steady pace during Winter (Wolf Pack Cycling). The route will depend on wind direction.
P.S. -I'll most likely be on the fixte. -nmTig

We're playing at the Aerodrome south which is very near. I'll check tonight and let you know. I'm planing on bringing one of my single speeds unless you plan on a lot of hills....Oh wait it's Houston. Nevermind:-)
