Anybody seen a Coker Monster Cruiser? SOOO cool!cory

Saw a bike chained outside the REI store in Sacramento Wednesday that's about the coolest ride I ever saw. Looked like a kid's bike, but as I got closer it just kept getting bigger. The wheels are 36 inches (!) in diameter, and the frame is in proportion, so it's huge. I hung around awhile, but the owner didn't show up. Headbadge said "Monster Cruiser," so I Googled that when I got home. Worth taking a look at www.coker.com/monster/monster.html
Anybody ever ridden one, or even heard of it? I want one.

Seen one in person ..at a bike store in Chattanooga TN, home of Coker..they arent made there though. I too think it would be cool to own one...it is huge!they also make penny farthing bikes with the 36 inch wheels, or they used to anyway..havent looked at their website in years.
Really cool. I almost got oneColnagoFE

They want like $600 for them though. More than I wanted to spend on a cruiser and would be a pain to get new tires for I'd think. I got a Dyno Deuce instead which is still a pretty cool cruiser bike. The Dyno Roadsters are really cool too but kinda hard to ride. I also might get one of those Phat choppers one of these days. www.phatcycles.com. In Boulder we have an informal cruiser club that meets on Thursday nights to ride around town on cruisers and drink...not neccesarily in that order. Some really cool bikes on the ride, but no Monsters at this point.
Gave one a spin in Moab last year.KJ99

Guy in the chili pepper bike shop had one. He let me take it for a spin around the parking lot. It made me feel like a little kid. Lots of fun. If my wife wouldn't kill me for bringing one home there would be one out in the shed. The oversized unicycle would also be a kick.
I want the penny farthing they make (nm)ColnagoFE

... scarriest two minutes I ever spent on a bicycle. A guy had a reproduction out in a parking lot, and let me ride it. You run to get it moving, jump onto a step above the rear wheel, and vault onto the seat, and apply your feet to the forcefully-moving pedals. Getting on the first time takes courage.
