Anyone used the Kenda Koncept road tires? Any good? I need some cheap training tires, these are only $20 each at Supergo...

Thanks

Dave

They are light, ride well and are inexpensive. I paid something like $15 ea for them at www.jensonusa.com.

The only negative is wear. They wear relatively quickly on the pavement and do not last at all on the trainer. Otherwise, I have no complaints and would buy them again.
I really liked themlonefrontranger

Used prototypes and first generation Koncepts for 2 seasons. Loved the ride. Agree on the wear issues but they have a nice supple feel. Where they really shone was for crits; nice and sticky. I'll never go back to Contis.
Nice ride, good grip, but....JS

wore really fast, 500mi or less. I think the new ones have a harder center section ala Michelin Axial Pro's. Worth a try.

I had bad luck with a set that came stock on a Cervelo. One blew off the rim after inflation to 100 psi. I also noticed more flats than normal.

For the price, pretty good. Mine wore out at about 1,200 miles, but much of that was on dirt roads. Inflation was 110 psi, only one flat during that time. I'll buy them again this spring. No complaints.
