In my search for a new frame I've narrowed my search to three, one of which is Roland DS. As you may or may not know, he built frames for Greg Lemond. He does not build many frames and the price is very reasonable ($1650 frame/fork). An article in "Cigar Aficinados" rated him with the best (Sachs, Baylis, etc). Anybody have any input? Thanks.
Roland builds gorgeous frames....rwbadley

He happens to live three blocks from us in Reno. I see many of his bikes on the road around here, and they are prized by all who own them.

I highly recommend a Della Santa, and have been saving for one myself...

When I got back into cycling in 88, I purchased a custom SLX Della Santa. Although heavy by current standards (20lbs) it is still my favorite bike for long rides. Della Santa custom rakes his forks to your needs. Silver soldered lugged frames are still beautiful in my books. Through the years I've owned but parted with several bikes. The Della Santa is still here.

Frank
