I've been holding out on buying some Genius 4's in the special "narrow" width since summer. Anyone ever see these for less than $189??

But I have waited and watched for sales for the last 4 months. Every time I found a deal, they didn't have my size. I gave up and ordered some last weekend. I tried them Sunday for a 70 mile ride. VERY comfy.

Yes total cycling has good deals and they are fast! Unfortunately, I need the women's shoe which makes the task more complicated.

Except Assos.
Sidi was on sale at Colorado Cyclist a while ago, had Sidi energy for $149 or something, retail price for Energy is over $200.
Genius is a little hard, since it is a really popular model.
I don't know but is it true Sidi's run narrow? (nm)jtferraro

I bought mine (Genius 3) years ago by mail because I had heard that. I still had to add Superfeet to make them narrow enough. I have a B width foot, so I'd say mine are probably Cs. Sidi offers a "Mega" in the Genius model, which is a wider version of the same shoe.
Regular Sidi's are C-width; Mega for D-width or wider (nm)TrekFurthur

After trying five different brands and sizes, I finally found shoes that fit me, thank goodness.( I wear 111/2 D in running shoes) . I had avoided regular Sidi's because I also had heard they ran narrow, but after trying the Mega's(they were too wide) , I found that the regular fit Sidi's, Genius 4's) were just right. Hope this helps.
Sidi is now offering 3 widths ...HouseMoney

in their Genius 4 road & Dominator 4 mountain shoes. In addition to their regular shoe (about a C-D width) and the wider Mega, they now have a narrow version to fit A-C.
Bought my Genius 3's three years ago at CC for $85.Sintesi

You have to be patient and keep searching. Something will come up. May not be exactly what you want but something will come up.

Back in August I paid $150 for a pair of G4 at a LBS (Mike's Bikes in San Francisco Bay Area). Saw them for $140 at Performance a week later (all widths) and went back to LBS who matched the price.
Yes they are.pmf1

Just wait until the Genius 5's come out and the G4's will get sold at half price.

Got a pair of G2's for $80 when the G3's came out. Most miserable pair of shoes I ever owned. My feet and those shoes did not get along. I endured it for a few months and bought a pair of Carnacs.

They are very narrow. Sure you need the special narrow size?

I haven't seen this model on sale but a couple years ago I bought a pair of Energys from Colorado Cyclist for $160? They do go on sale and now is a great time to find deals. You can call CC and see if they have some they aren't advertising. Mine weren't in the catalog I was ordering something else and somehow got on the subject of shoes with the rep I needed them and couldn't pass the price. They are a loud yellow/gold color which is fine for me but if you are picky about color you may have to pay full price.
