Nice bike! But.....that IS a lot of post showing. Is that set at your normal riding height? You must be very good rider to tolerate such a drop from the saddle to the bars.
Huh, firewall at work blocked site as "tasteless". -nmSnowBlind

What color is that? It looks like a flat paint. I like it a lot. How do you like the speedplay pedals? I went back to Looks for two reasons. I can get into them as quickly off the start, and I seem to always get schmegg in my cleats with the Speedplays.
I digress.... It is a beautiful bike.

Thanks:)....I believe the color is sky blue, and the paint is flat, but it looks 10 times better in person. I love the speedplays. I must admit, they're my first set of clipless pedals, so I have nothing to compare them against, but I certainly have no complaints.
Gee-that's a lot of post showing......Alexx

The blue and white is the first color scheme that makes those big letters look good to me. Enjoy!

Kunfoochi!

Are you the 16-year old guy who kept asking people on this forum what they thought about a lot of bikes (used trek vs new trek etc)...? :) If so, Im glad to see you´ve finally decided.

What size is it? And, equally important - what´s your size (inseam, length, anything you know.)? I´m also considering a Cinelli, but their sizing is kinda weird, so... It looks really nice - congrats!

Yep, that's me, I'm 15:)....Thanks for all of the comments, I love it! I'm about 6'1" without shoes on, and I wear a size 32 pants inseam if that helps, I never really got an official sizing done. This bike is the largest this frame comes in, I believe it's a 57 cm. The fit seems perfect, I haven't fully adjusted the seatpost yet, for all of those who inquired, but I don't think it's too high..should I be concerned about the post bending?

Thanks!
Nice bike, but my back hurts just looking at it!look271

THat is alot of post showing. I have the same inseam as you and I have nowhere near the amount of post showing as you, although you are 15 and I'm 43 (you are a bit more flexible than most of us, my young friend!) If I were you, I'd spend the $$ and get a good lbs to size you on it, FWIW.

Hmm....I might just do that...about how much SHOULD that cost? I know every time I walk into my bike shop they see a kid and they try to cheat me. They wanted to charge me like $10 for a tube!

Well, first of all I guess you know how to measure seat height...? If not, check out www.coloradocyclist.com.

You dont need to worry about the seatpost bending, but to some people the drop from the saddle to the bars might seem slightly too much but since you´re young & flexible you should be ok. (Some people prefer to have the saddle level with the seat, more than 5 inches is too much for most people.)

Yes, I know how to measure. I've been riding it at this height a few times, and I seem to be ok....my back usually always hurt on my old bike because it was too small and I was cramped, but this seems great. If my back should start hurting again I will lower it, as I don't want to spend $50 if I don't have to.

Thanks!
Well, then ,enjoy your new ride, MR. Gumby! =) nmlook271

Some shops might charge more; I don't know. Things here in Pa tend to be a bit cheaper. Have your Dad (or an adult) come in with you if you think that they may overcharge you. It would be worth it, I think.
