1988 Bianchi Trofeo, serial number 207. At least half of the spokes were broken, so I replaced the wheels, adjusted the brakes, and was able to ride. Shifts flawlessly. I have about 100 miles on it in the past week and am starting to get used to using downtube shifters. The Columbus steel is much smoother than my Trek aluminum. I have a new stem on order as this one is way too short. I am going to keep the downtube shifters but think I will upgrade the brakes and cranks. Brakes are Modolo and work kinda ok. The Bianchi crank arms are shorter than I am used to. I am going to try to post some photos....

Sharp ride, something has to be said for the older bikes.I have a Fuji from the same time period and it rides smooth as silk.Enjoy it.
