What's your favorite brand of tubes?katie1

I prefer Kenda or Salsa tubes w/ 60 mm stems (700 x 23). I have Ksyrium wheels so the long valve stems make it easier to pump them up. I have tried Ultralight tubes and find them not worth the marginal weight saved. Just curious what other brands are descent.

I don't lose sleep on weight so I just go with whatever standard tube is on sale. I've used Performance tubes to good success.

... what can I say ... the first one of the pair finally failed at 27 years. The other one is still in service. I figure they've saved me dozens of f***s (although I've had enough to learn my lesson about saying the f-word).

I have had no luck at all with Kenda's. (Kenda makes the Salsa tubes, too.) My fave are Conti Race lites, the only lighhtweight tubes that I've used that are fairly puncture resistant. (Gee, Kerry, I didn't say that all others s#$k! Aren't you proud of me? =) ) Actually, the best ones that I have ever used were cheapo Nashbar latex tubes.. They held air OK and lasted forever. Don't make them anymore :(

for my SLs and Dave's Aeros.....I figure that since they manufacture high pressure tyres, they'd also apply that same technology in their tubes...I'm moreeeee than happy.
Bonjour.
