Which is better for 28H ? Is Ambrosio as light as Open Pro ? I know Ambrosio cost a little more, but I can get it readily off the shelf here local for sale. Worth the trouble to place order for OP ?

Excellence at 460gr is heavier than the OP's. You might want to look at the Excellights which are 430. On a weight to price basis, the OP is probably a better value.

I have wheels built with Excellights, Balance (Ambrosio) and OP's. I happen to like the look and build of the Ambrosio's but if it's about value, buy the OP's.

BTW, I didn't think the Excellence was available in 28.

While Mavic advertises OP's to weigh 425 grams they are often 450+. Mavic blames wear of the extrusion dies for the high weights but I think this is a poor excuse. Extrusion dies are dirt cheap so even if they do wear, they should replace them more often.
