8 speed cassette body is shorter than the 9/10 speed body. The 9 and 10 speed cassettes will not fit.

There are aftermarket solutions - Wheels Accelerator cassette, for one, that will allow 9 cogs on a Campy 8 speed hub. But the factory Campy cogs won't fit.

You can do one of two things for it to work. 1) change the cassette body. It's very easy to do and you will end up with a 9/10 speed hub. All parts are available through Branford bike. 2) you can use a spacer kit available at Branford too. This is a link to the spacer kit below.
