Few questions-
Anybody have a source for carbon caged beside the ones made by Zipp?
Also, the Elite cages - Only small bottles, right?

Thanks

I see that Supergo has Weyless carbon cages in their catalog but I cannot find them on the website. You may want to call them.

I have two of the fancy (narrow waterbottle) elite cages on my road bike and I'm replacing them with standard cages - probably a nice ti cage. The small water bottles aren't any good for anything less than an hour and I don't have a domestique. They rattle, too......
Go with King Ti or stainless cages: light, strong and don't mark bottles (nm)SS_MB-7

I have broken two of the Elite (stainless) cages in the past year. The first was during a crit (boing, boing - going to be a long, hot day) and the second was on a training ride. It isn't as if I was cramming a 40 down its gullet - these things look nice and light and svelte, but are pretty crummy in terms of durability. They both broke in the same place - the tubular stainless build leaves much to be desired. I replaced these with the regular Elite (aluminum?) cages - beefier, sturdier, and they keep the bottles where they should be. On the bike.

Why don't you just stick a hose in your ear and drain some of that water out of your head...That way you wouldn't need the extra bottle cages...and I'm sure that it would end up being cheaper and lighter than either cage you were dreaming about.
