ok, i have one of those super-cool chucksbikes.com tange prestige steel frames ($45 +shipping!!!), and am ready to build it up as a low-cost long-distance beater. :)

just wondering, is there a reason not to use this fork (profile sc carbon treadless 1" fork, $85), or not to use this fork with this frame?

nashbar has some reasonably priced forks, too.

Th Profile fork would look fine on this frame. The Eastons would look good as well. If that frame only had horizontal dropouts...

I've been looking at it for a while, thinking of creating some sort of horrific Frankenbike.

Butt-a@@ ulgier is more gooder,...sometimes.
