However, based on my limited experience with Assos, I'll bet you can find something that performs just as well for no more than half the price.

I paid 180US a couple years ago at LBS for it, but it's the best rain jacket I've bought by far. I heat up to much in the plastic ones, and other vented models leave me cold and wet. If you have 2-5% body fat the plastic one is probably perfect, otherwise, I can't recommend this jacket enough. It's super light and super small so you never have an excuse to leave it behind if the weather is iffy. If you can afford it, don't hesitate, can't help but think you'll love it.

I concur with tao's comments. Mine was a bit cheaper in the UK and Santa Claus delivered it so that eliminated the cost element. The only additional thing to note is that the material can be more easily ripped than a plastic rain cape but that's my only caution. Obviously in the UK, one uses this sort of jacket a bit and to tao's point, you don't get overheated using the clima.

I agree w/everything tao has to say.....great,light weight rain jacket (not meant to be a 'storm' jacket) and will tuck in the pocket without pulling the jersey to the rear wheel....if you want a fantastic,light-weight, cold weather jacket (comfy to 30°) go for the ASSOS Gator.....IMHO, their stuff is 5-star! (expensive, but what 'good stuff' isn't???)
Assos Clima Micro Jacket -- Sizing?ms

I am thinking about getting the Clima Micro jacket. However, instead of s-m-l-xl sizing, the sizes are I-II-III. An Assos large jersey or jacket fits me perfectly (I'm 5"11, 162lbs). Any size recommendations for the Clima Micro?

@ believe that you should be able to wear the same size as the jersey/jacket....I don't understand ASSOS sizing theory....everything is based on height...must be 'clones' over in Sweden...whatever your height, you must have the same chest/waist measurements as everyone else....strangeeeeeeee!
