|in the 24 spoked rear, are the holes in the rim drilled at a uniform spacing (ie, is it a normal 24 hole rim)?
I'm thinking of building some wheels using the triplet spoking pattern and I wanted to get all the facts straight first:
for the rear, I would need a 32 hole hub, and a 24 hole rim. 8 spokes for L side, 16 for R side. Then, at the rim, the spoking pattern would look like: R-L-R-R-L-R-R-L-R...
also, are the drive side spokes done 2X or 3X?

|I posted my response once before but it must have been zapped into cyberspace.
Can't answer 'em all. First rec is to call Dave Thomas at Speeddreams for the answers. Don't tell him you are going to build your own....
24 hole rim: normal spacing/uniform
rear rim: 16R 8L
I think 2x on drive side, but I'll have to check from home with the wheel in my hand.
