Plan on building a new wheelset.niteschaos

I was planning on building a wheelset from Mavic Reflex rims and Ultegra hubs. This is going to be a tubular race-only wheelset. I have built a wheel before, but all the proper sized spokes were provided. How do I find out what length spoke I should buy for the build. My LBS said they can build the whole thing for me with Dura Ace hubs for 390, not including tires, whereas I can build the whole thing with tires for 350.

Anyone have a trusty spoke length calculator or something? Does anyone have this current setup and can tell me the length themselves?

and it said I should get 319mm length spokes. Doesn't that seem a bit long?

Should be somewhere in the low to mid 290s I would guess.
I went there . . . did you change the spoke number?TrekFurthur

The spoke number is pre-set at 16; you have to manually change it to 32, 28, whatever. The way I ran it says you should use 297's for the front and 294 ds and 296 non-ds for the rear on 32 spoke wheels. That would be comparable to my 28 spoke wheels.

Just order everything from Colorado Cyclist. They'll send you the right length spokes and it should be a lot cheaper than the prices you listed.
