Anyone know where I can find the specs on a 1996 TREK 2200 (48 cm)? Rake, trail, steer tube angle, seat tube angle?
I want to upgrade to a threadlesss and carbon fork. What fork (lightweight, stiff) would go well with my frame?

Can't answer all of your questions but Treks have relatively steep head tubes so I would suggest a 40mm rake.

do steep head tubes apply to frames back in 1996 also?
anyones else concur with 40mm rake for my 1996 trek 48"?
Not necessarily...jtolleson

some of those smaller framesets had slack head tube angles to lengthen the wheel base/avoid toe overlap. I wouldn't assume a 40mm rake; my gut would have been 45. But take the bike into a good LBS (esp. one that works with custom mgfs, like a Serotta dealer) and they'll have one of those round liquid filled gizmos (technical term!) that can tell you the HTA.
