|I just installed my Selle saddle on a new Easton EC70 carbon seatpost.
The Easton instructions said to lightly grease the rails of the saddle. I figured the seatpost might have a squeaking problem, so I dabbed on a little grease.
I clamped the seatpost screw to spec, but the saddle would slowly slide back as I rode, so I disassembled it and cleaned off the grease. It still slides!
rought up the chrome plated rails?
a possible interface material?
weld the two together? (just kidding)

|I once had a post on a mtb that slipped no matter what I tried. Finally got it to stop by wrapping the rails w/ a bit of rubber from an old inner tube. Not exactly the most aesthetically pleasing solution, but it worked!|

|install it as per their instructions, then about ten to fifteen minutes into the next ride get off and retighten the bolt. Sometimes the bolt needs a retorqueing to set the seat clamp right.|| |
