|There is a good post below about bike expenses and it reminded of this. Lance makes ahem....$200,000 to make a two hour motivational speech now. He makes several a year and companys send their reps/employes/etc to listen to people like Lance and former presidents talk about an approach to life and work style. Its rather large companys to, like big phone/electric/financial/etc. Is that incredible or what? He speaks about his struggle with cancer and how he approaches winning the Tour mentally. I'm a big fan, but when former presidents make half that much to speak on behalf of other countrys, well it gives you an interesting perspective on what people think.
Obviously they see him as an enormous inspiration and articulate enough to convince a few hundred people to live their lives better and work harder. I wonder if companys get a tax advantage to do this?
