|Per the earlier recommendation: http://www.lightmanstrobes.com/index.htm
This really looks like the ticket for those needing to ride in the dark. And, the price looks right, espcecially for the "Basic Bike Kit".

|That web site was pretty vague. I didn't see a list of prices or any dealer locations.
Certainly looks like a good product. I e-mailed them for more info.

|I did a search for the company, found a link (not their home) which gave prices for the various "as is systems". Seems the basic bike systems are like 15 to 20 bucks Canadian. They also do alot of custom stuff, price upon inquiry. I, too, E-mailed them, ready to buy given the slightest provocation!|

they are better but after browsing their web site, it was clear that these are not some plain blinky light. Their products are used by the secret service, law enforcement, and rescue personel. If they can be used to designate a landing area for helicopters, I'm sure it is brighter than what I have now.
For $24 bucks, I'll give it a try. LBS wants nearly that much for Vista lights and other products.

|Look at the specs long duration usage 7 hours intermittent usage. Long-duration model: over 8 hours continuous; 20 hours intermittent usage.
This thing will eat batteries.

|Maybe, but get yourself some AA NiMh rechargable batteries and your set.|| |
