I was on my way to a triathlon 7 hours away. 3 hours into the trip, i discovered i left the front wheel behind (yeah, i did win the dumb*ss of the day award!). As i was travelling down I65, i called a friend, had them search the internet for all LBS's in the Montgomery, Al area. How did we ever survive without cell phones and internet? Called Bicycle Escape, spoke with Dave, told him my dilemma. He gave me directions to the shop, dug up a used rim, tire, etc. put it together, trued it up, and had me back on the road in short order, and did the whole deal for $20! I did the tri and had zero problems with the old rim from the back of the shop :) . It just got a place of honor on my garage wall, and earned the nickname "Trusty Rusty". Thanks Dave and Bicycle Escape!
BTW, the folks at Panama City, Fl put on a great Tri!
Correction: The shop name is Cycle Escape (nm)hallcd7
