Look 386 vs Trek 5200spspinner

I have decided to get back into riding and have been following this site for a while in helping me choose which bike to purchase. I narrowed it down to either the '03 Trek 5200 with the new straight fork or the Look 386. Both would be equiped with the same equipment. The Look is priced out at around $300 more. I am planning on getting back into ridding a few times a week and an occassional century. Any input would be appreciated. Thank you ahead of time for your advice.

I think a 381i would be a more comparable frame to a Trek (actually better, but I'm biased). The 386 is designed to be a bit more aero then a regular road frame... yet it pretty much has the same road geometry (unlike the newer 486 which slopes in the smaller sizes).
