|I mean, you can't reasonably need confirmation that that's a good deal. Assuming good condition, that is a SCREAMING deal.
So, what's the catch? Lotsa miles? A previous crash? A manufacturing defect? Your question only gave model and year and price which is like asking if 2+2 really equals 4.

|Was the MJ ever sold just as frame and fork? Are you sure it hasn't been built up? I though this was a production bike in the Lemond line, that's why I ask.
$500 is a good price.

|don't know if it was ever sold as a frame and fork only. I've got a buddy who was salivating over one and it definitely fit him very well, long torso and short legs. I found a frame and fork on Ebay and let him know. The seller said it was new and never built up. The auction closed and my friend says he got it for $500 but I haven't seen it yet. He was happy with the price but unsure if he paid too much. I've never been interested in LeMonds and didn't know much about their value so I said I'd ask around.|

|It's being sold by "Hot Louie" out of the back of a truck
near the warehouse district right?
A good deal indeed.
