|I am looking to buy a Silca Super Pista floor pump. Consistently across the web I see these pumps for sale for ~$35, but some places sell the Super Pista Art. 76/30 pump for ~$60. Is this the same pump, just higher price? Does Silca have a website? Mostly for curiousity's sake, does the Super Pista work for shrader and presta (I have seen conflicting answers)?|

|just get the straight up super pista. there is really no operatonal difference. the super pista WILL work with presta and schraeder. the bell end of the head screws off (wow, that sounded really dirty!) and you can screw the rest of the head onto a schraeder valve.|

|Silca pumps work great, but periodically need adjustment or rebuilds. That can be good or bad depending on how you look at it. The good part is they sell complete rebuild kits so you can replace every internal part. The bad news is they tend to be a little higher maintenance than other floor pumps.
Compare that to a Blackburn or a Performance pump that may last a little longer, but when it breaks, you usually throw it away instead of rebuilding the inside.
