im thinking about getting a new frame and i remembered that super go had the epx frames for like $450 so i went to their site and they dont sell them anymore. i email the people at epx and asked if they sell direct and they do but the frame is now $899. anyone know why such a price hike and does anyone know of another carbon frame for under 500 bucks. i have seen the look 241 on ebay for under 500 but thats it.
Price hike was because of the diamonds in the downtube. (nm)onespeed

the 449 deal was a 2001 closeout. It is a great frame. Don't know where you can do better.

It is an Asian made frame that apparently has been branded by both Look as a 286 and I.C.E- but several years ago... the frame reportedly weighs 3.1 lbs, although at what size I do not know. It appears to have a threaded fork. Basically it would be like buying a new used bike...

It's made by Advanced Composites. I have the LOOK 286 version. KHS and Mongoose also sold a version.

The frame is not made by Advanced Composites-it is made by Advanced Multitech International in Taiwan.I know this because I purchased one from Chuck with the original inspection certificate. The two companies are not related.I have not built up the frame yet.

Do you really want a carbon frame that only cost $500 or less? Think about it.
