|Never thought about this untill yesterdays ride it is amazing how many different manufactures we advertise for on just a regular ole training ride. Just in apparel alone yesterday these are all the manufactures I represented. starting at the feet. Northwave, Defeet, voler, pearl izumi, Biemme, polar, Bell, Rudy project, to me that seems like quite a few. and then you still have your frame all the componnets etc, etc. I wonder if any other sport involes so many manufactures. Anyways just a thought I had on a cold Rainy day in North Carolina yesterday.

|Well back in the old days of NASCAR they used to have 2 million decals all over the cars. Now it seems they have a main sponsor and maybe one other logo.Of course this assumes that you consider stock car racing a sport.
No offense to NASCAR fans.I kinda like watching it myself now and then.

|Most of all my riding gear is logo free. Only socks and the decal on the helmet and the riding cap that goes underneath the helmet. I'm not going to pay $70 for a jersey so I can advertise for some company. If they want tha service they can give me the jersey and pay me everytime I wash it or wear it. Advertising is big business and I want my share of it. It would be dfferent if I was riding for a team, but I am not. I don't even advertise my own company while riding.

|I completely agree. I would wear a jersey w/ logos & adverts if given it for free. Otherwise plain, boring unadorned togs are my general rule. I have lots of T-Shirts w/ logos & adverts on them but they were all free. |
Tommy Boggerflicker, Ralph Boring, Trek, Campy, Shimano, C'Dale, PI and every other one can either pay me to wear it or give it to me. 'Till then I will ride anonymously.
