|I am looking for a road shoe for a wide foot. Have tendonitis which is bothered by side to side pressure on my foot. The only shoe I have found so far is the Sidi Genius Mega. The shoe fits and I'd like to wear it, but can't kick out the 189.99 right now. Any suggestions on brands models that run wide.|

|They are on sale for $160 at Gearlink. You can also get them at several overseas sources.
Also look on ebay. What size?
The Pearl Izumi Vagabond is around $79 and has a somewhat roomy forefoot. That's probably the lowest cost shoe that may work.

|Try the Lake CX201, its around $89 at Nashbar, its a very wide and big shoe, larger volume than the Sidi Mega.|

|I was fortunate enough to find my Genius 3's on sale, just after the Genius 4's came out. I normally wear a EE and if I don't one of two things happens...
1) cheap shoes blow apart at the ball of my foot within a month
2) well built shoes constrict my foot causing poor circulation and awful corns and callouses between my toes
If you can't find a pair of 3's on closeout somewhere, I would heartily suggest finding a way to scrounge up the extra bucks...they're worth it.

|Go to ebay. I purchased a pair of Mega Genius 4 shipped from the UK for $135. It took 4 weeks for the shoes to arrive but I didn't need them right away. He didn't have Mega widths listed for auction but I emailed him directly with my order. I think his ebay name is bitz4bikes.|| |
