Morning rides around Waltham, MA ???opencl

Every morning while commuting to work (around 7:45am), I always see a group of 10-30 cyclists going by in the Waltham area around Winter Street, Totten Road, etc... toward Bentley college. Anyone here belong to that group or know who they are? Just curious....

you might want to ask at belmont wheelworks, on trapelo road in belmont. i would bet that the group ride is affiliated somehow with them, or the folks who work there at least know some of the riders.

Yeah you might be right. I have seen some of those cyclists hanging out at belmont wheelworks.

They usually regroup at the rotatory near Bentley. After that, they probably head back to wheelworks.

I am pretty sure they are not CRW since I don't see them wearing CRW jerseys. Nashoba is further up north. I don't think they will drive all the way down here to just do morning rides.

Probably riders affiliated with one (or many) of the area's collegiate teams. The loops go out and over Trapelo (crossing the Reservoir) loop in and around Weston/Lincoln, and then back over the Reservoir to Waltham/Belmont etc. (i.e. down Totten Pond Rd.).

They leave from Newton at 5:45 most mornings as I understand it.

I rode with a bunch of these guys on the Pan Mass Challenge this year. We start a day early on the NY line and ride to the official start in Sturbridge. Good group of guys.
