| HR vs. Watts and Powertap | PODIUMBOUNDdotCA Oct 10, 2002 7:38 AM | | Just a follow up question to my last power. Are these 2 meant to be used together?
Then out of curiusity what ever happened to powertap? I can't find their website anymore...

Powertap went bankrupt and was purchased, I believe, by Graber/CycloPs (does that sound right to everyone else?), who were going to make the unit more reliable and incorporate it in their trainers. |
| re: HR vs. Watts and Powertap | CAAD5 Kid Oct 10, 2002 12:29 PM | | Powertap is now a division of Saris which is also the new owners of cyclops, maker of car racks, etc. Powertap is still being sold and take a look at Trek's website. New for 2003 is a bontrager/ powertap wheelset. |

This'll take you to Graber's site; yes, they're now distributed by TCG, a division of Trek. The Bontrager wheels someone mentioned is a custom for Bonti by PT--basically, a Bonti Race-Xlite Aero (read: Vector Pro) with a PT rear hub. Sexy. |
