Just a follow up question to my last power. Are these 2 meant to be used together?

Then out of curiusity what ever happened to powertap? I can't find their website anymore...

Thanks!

HR and Power output are most valuable when used together, but either can be used seperately with good results.

Powertap went bankrupt and was purchased, I believe, by Graber/CycloPs (does that sound right to everyone else?), who were going to make the unit more reliable and incorporate it in their trainers.

Powertap is now a division of Saris which is also the new owners of cyclops, maker of car racks, etc. Powertap is still being sold and take a look at Trek's website. New for 2003 is a bontrager/ powertap wheelset.

Actually Saris is a brand owned by Graber. The first post had it right.

Used together, they are very effective.

This'll take you to Graber's site; yes, they're now distributed by TCG, a division of Trek. The Bontrager wheels someone mentioned is a custom for Bonti by PT--basically, a Bonti Race-Xlite Aero (read: Vector Pro) with a PT rear hub. Sexy.
