In your collective opinion, what would you say are the most durable, bomb-proof rims out there? The rims on my current rig are just too delicate for the kind of daily grind of commuter-esqu riding I put it trhough, and I want a set that won't go out of true the first time I hit a cement lip moving from the road to the sidewalk. Bigger tires would help, I know, but I want stronger rims, too. Any suggestions?

If you can find them, CXP 30s are solid. I have had good experiences with ambrosio focus rims as well.

can you get rigida rims?
the dp18 may be what you're looking for.

I think every rim with 500 gramms and more should do.
there are nice sun rims, too.
