Here is my latest project. The frame is a 1988 LOOK KG86 Hinault frame. I replaced the old TVT carbon fork with a newer carbon straight blade. Wheels are Velocity Aerohead with NOS Dura Ace 7600 high flange track hubs. Crankset is NOS Dura Ace 7600 170mm arms. Gearing is 45T chainring with a 17T Shimano BMX freewheel. Headset, brakeset and seatpost for Dura Ace 7400 series. Saddle and bottle cage are Specialized. Pedals are LOOK Jalabert PP396. Total weight of bikes is 16.5lbs. If I had to keep only one bike, this would be it.

Really nice ride. How long is the dropout? I can't tell from the pic.
Very short. It's a semi verticle dropout.Dave Hickey

With the gearing I have, there is plenty of room for chain tension. I could go with a 16t or an 18t and it would still work fine

I didn't know if you had that cam axle system that I saw on the internet that permits you to tighten up the chain on a vertical dropout. That is a very cool and light bike. My fixed is over 19 pounds. BTW the welded freehub I am using in the rear is doing well so far with a 100 miles on it.
