|So....if I get that $45 Tange Prestige frame from Chuck, and send it off to Bilenky for an S&S coupler retrofit job, I get a steel travel frame for 400 Franklins shipping included.
A. (Any rough guesses on cost for putting in some horizontal dropouts? Class? Anyone? Rough guess?)

|Seems a bit lop-sided spending more on the coupling than the frame... not that I'd want to hack up an expensive frame.
Seriously, I don't get it: a regular bike can break down into about a "luggage-sized" case.
