$2800 for a wheelset?...Djudd

I was cruising around the Bulltek site and saw a wheelset "Zipp Z3 303" was listed at $2799.95. I'm an old fogey for sure but this seems outrageous. I guess if you have the money to burn...( I wonder what Eddy's wheels cost him)

Well they do weigh less than 1000 grams (975, believe) so I suppose if weight really means that much to some one then these are some of the lightest wheels around. But you're right that seems way to steep for me...then again regular $1000 Zipps seem to steep to me.

If i recall, they are a limited production set (200 pairs?). Real exotic materials. Partly gimmick, partly SUPER LIGHT. FWIW

I will be sure to order a set. To put on my new C-40.
Proving once again how astute PT Barnum was. (nm)RhodyRider

I feel the same when I see a complete bike for that price.
