|That happened right here in deer old Minnesota.
Ewe might think it's fictional, but I doe believe it
is the real item.
No word on the rumor of whether the driver of the SUV was on their way home from a stag party when the incident
The word is the deer jumped off the Highway 101 bridge
over 394 in Wayzata after being frightened by a car that
drove by as it was walking over the bridge. The SUV was
driving under the bridge when the deer took a leap.

|Say, doesn't lemond live there? is this a conspiracy?|
Oct 4, 2002 3:13 AM
|Lemond does live here... he's gained a few pounds since his pro days....
This thread was odd... my immediate family (self included) has hit four deer over the years. When I saw the pics I was thinking, that could happen around here... well, apparently it did. 394?

|Yep - if you look at the bottom picture it's definetely a
Minnesota license plate.
A friend of mine who played bass in a band I had once also
hit a deer, he was racing back to tell his parents that he
got a job that he'd interviewed for and the first two deer
he managed to miss. The third he hit pretty good and broke
its legs off and the rest of it landed in the front end of
the car. He was very lucky he didn't get hurt. The deer,
fortunately, died immediately afterwards. Two guys in a
pickup truck wanted to know if they could have the deer,
being avid deer hunters apparently. My friend, dazed, said
"uh, sure." The cops were apparently amused but my friends'
relatively new car was never the same after that.
