Just for fun - what colors would you choose...853

Just picked up this frame and fork. Had all the parts and got lucky with finding this frame in my local classifieds for a good deal. I guess this will be my winter/crit racing bike and the best part is that my nice bike is a Caad5 54cm
this is a 54cm Caad4 - I can set these up exactly and not feel a diffrence between the two(except for weight).

Anyways - What colors would you choose for Seat/bar tape and tires.
I have polished aluminum bar/stem/seatpost combo so I feel that I can't do the black theme because there is nothing else that is black not even on the frame.

Thanks,

Dark blue Vredestein tires, SLR saddle, and cork tape.
Repaint ugly orange frame. Then do seat, tape, tires. nmBrooks

I'm glad it isn't orange as well - I guess it is a bad picture or a bad camera! The guy actually emailed me this picture and was kind of turned off by what looked like an orange/yellow color, but I said, what the heck, at least I'll take a look at it, and was pleasantly surprised to find a clean bright yellow beauty.
NEVER repaint an orange frame. All bikes should be orange(nm)cory

Ha... I had the same decision to make on a yellow Litespeed Vortex frame that I boght on E-bay. I thought about repainting it or having Litespeed blast and buff it back to plain titanium surface.

I kept it yellow after it was delivered and I'm happy I did. It's beautiful.

Go with black handlebar tape, black saddle, I bought Ksyrium SSL wheels to go with it. Those wide bladed spokes really look good on a yellow bike.

Blue handlebar tape, saddle, tires (Conti GP 3000s with blue sidewalls). The blue would pick up well since that's the primary color in the logos and it goes well with yellow. Some of blue & yellow splash tape might also look good. If you use water bottles, pick up some blue Ciussi cages. It would look great, unless you are an Ohio State fan and the thought of having Michigan colors makes you puke.
Black seat, black tape, black tires...Quack

Then you would have some black on your bike. Personally, I think colored tires are pretty gay, but blue would probably be the color I would choose if you hate black.
