TCR carbon fork problem?fbg111

As I was changing a flat a while ago, I noticed that at the bottom of the fork where the wheel fits in, the paint/coating is cracking off. This is right around where the wheel clamps onto the fork. I assume this is normal, but just want to check and make sure it won't lead to alignment problems (or worse). Is this common for most carbon forks? Thanks.
Totally normal and very....fz4vgq

common on Giant bicycles in general, they seem to use a very brittle paint that does not adheer well to aluminum. The dropouts (where your wheel fits into) is actually aluminum bonded to the carbon fiber legs. All bikes eventually lose their paint in that area after enough wheel removal/reinstalls. Don't worry about it, just ride that Giant as hard and often as possible, it won't let you down. have fun, chad
