Need help with spin class cdPODIUMBOUNDdotCA
Sep 30, 2002 9:20 PM
I'm making up a new cd for my spin classes and I'd be interested to hear what people like to hear whether in a class or just training on their own. I like to have a fairly wide variety... as it stands I have Eye of the Tiger and World's Greatest by R-Kelly but I also need ideas for a couple slower songs to use in warmup, cooldown and stretching.

Any suggestions would be great!!!

Thanks!
Nick

I think ant 80's dance music make nice music for the workout.

One of the best cool-down songs I've heard was Andreas Bocacelli. Not sure if this spelling is coreect.

I tap my foot to the beat of fast songs that I like and count how many beats per minute (bpm). I find I like songs between 85 bpm and 110 bpm. I usually include one or two songs at about 65 bpm so I can shift to my hardest gear, stand up and hammer. I put some of the fastest songs on the beginning and end of the recordings so I can warm up and cool down by spinning quickly in easier gears which may not work for spin classes with a lot of non-cyclists.
