Spoiler, here is your proof that Silver is most popularLazywriter

car color. You are a moron and you did say that bare ti owners were wanting for color and you are WRONG.

The rise of technology has blurred the boundaries between Asian, European and North American preferences. As a result, the most recent DuPont customer survey to determine automotive color popularity indicates a greater preference for silver, which dominates nearly all of the vehicle types. White metallic remains the color of choice among luxury car buyers, while sport utility vehicle and truck shoppers opt for the traditional white. Black remains a top-five favorite in all categories, while blue — a perennial favorite overseas — continues to dwindle green’s dominance. According to the survey, silver’s popularity can be traced to a growing desire for self-expression. DuPont predicts that high chroma — the intensity of a particular color — will drive the “notice me” trend of yellow hues, stronger reds and lighter blues.

well, we can now rule out Lazyresearcher. and at least you're consistent... you begin your argument with the expected verbal assault on the person rather then with the argument itself. your actions speak so loud, i can't hear a word you're saying.

approval. Regardless, I was right and Spoiler was wrong and I don't base my knowledge on "unscientific" viewings of car ads and personal observations. I may be obnoxious, but I am always factual and quite often people agree with me and my logic although they hate to admit it. You need me here or this place becomes a house of pussies.

Very good grasshopper. See how satisifying a little research can be? Now if we can work on your social skills, we just might be able to turn you into a productive member of society.
For your next lesson, please tell us the exact IQ parameters that define a "moron". I'll then reveal my IQ, and we'll see if the numbers match.

is bare ti a "color"filtersweep
Sep 30, 2002 4:24 PM
I'd compare bare ti to, say, a Delorean? Seems the most appropriate car metaphor.

Somehow, to me, silver paint looks different than bare "metal" whether brushed or polished... but that's probably just me. In fact I'd almost argue that polished Ti is not a color at all, any more than a mirror is a color, or is considered "silver"- it reflects too much light... but then again, I'm just being difficult! ;)

We just reviewed your piece and we are in AWE of your brilliance. We have erected a huge shrine; an altar built from the pages of Shakespeare, Dickens, and Joyce—all worthless now except to glorify you—and placed your manuscript upon it, surrounding it with candles and incense and rose petals. Each day we fall to our knees and savor your glittering prose, your vast superiority not only to us but to all of mankind. Extraterrestrials could use your powerful piece to fuel their ships and travel through space, though of course their only destination would be our office, where they would bask in the presence of your divine, magnificent work. which does not meet the current editorial needs of RBR. Sorry.
