Looking a small airplanes in the bargin basement price range. Can a bike with wheels removed fit into the cargo area of a Cessna 150-152 ? Can two bikes fit? The question is for proper road and mountian bikes bikes, not the cheazy foldup tourist bikes.

I wonder if you could fit a Yakima rack on top of the plane.
S & S couplers would helpTig

They'll cost you $400 for steel and $600 for Ti couplers. A doctor I ride with just had a pair of Waterford's made for him and his wife with them for traveling. They turned out nice.
Great Idea . nmAmbishawn

The 150 is really small in the cargo department. The plane was never intended to carry more than a couple of duffle bags. I could never fit my bike in the 150/152 when I was training. The 172 is more reasonable, the 182 for sure. How about a Beechcraft Sundowner?

It can fit inside but the trick is getting through the little side door. Your going to have to remove the seat and post also.
