I am going to purchase new shoes. Already decided on Sidi's. Was going to buy the Sidi Dominators and use with my SPD pedals. But I have been floating around the idea of getting some Time impact pedals and getting a Sidi road shoe. Any thoughts, opinions or advice. All is appreciated. After 2 days of heavy rains, I may be willing to pedal in bare feet today!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks

I've got size 42 feet, and even I do find the eggbeater / SPD cleat too small a platform for extended rides. get the Impacts. or better yet, get the G4s with Speedplays - I find the platform adequate. I have small feet, though.

I have Time equoie pro pedals and shoes and love them.. If you have large feet, I wear a size 48 Time's are the only way to go in my opinion. The platform is huge and it is nearly imposiible to pull out in a sprint i.e. Look. I'm curious about the top of the line DMT shoes, I've heard that they are narrower in the heel than Sidi's. If anyone is interested I have a pair of like new Sidi Energy's, the yellow ones from two years ago, e-mail me for more info.

Haven't tried the impacts yet, but have played with them. They look to be of good quality. I ride a pair of Sidi's on my time pedals. The sidi time plate could be a lot better. Maybe the look plate, which you could use on the impact (as well as the time plate on it)would work better.
