|I ordered some stuff two days ago from ProBikeKit.com and got an automatic e-mail response with an order number for reference. However, I have yet to receive a shipping confirmation or anything else regarding my order. My credit card has been charged for the amount of the order in U.S dollars (converted from pounds), but there is no listing of the company in relation to the charge. In fact, there is no listing at all. My available credit is just $67.00 less than it was before I placed the order. I'm wondering if anyone else who orders from them gets a shipping confirmation e-mail or any other correspondence regarding the order. I sent an e-mail asking specific questions and got the automatic response again. I'm not worried, I just find it a little unusual. Then again, maybe they haven't gotten around to it yet. I know a lot of people on here recommend them, but is this their standard procedure? What have everyone else's experiences been with them? For what it's worth, I have gotten answers back when I've e-mailed them with product questions. Thanks in advance.|

|I've had three orders off them in the last 2 months and had no problems at all. I had to exchange a top for a smaller size so I sent it back for a refund and ordered the smaller size online(Just to make sure I got it - they were low on stock in that size). The refund showed up within a few days on my card statement. That's always a good sign with mailorder companies - equal level of service on the non-profit side of things.
No I have not had a shipping order confirmation email, just the auto ref number email like yourself. I guess because the stock levels are shown next each item when ordering it will be despatched as soon as the order is received, so no despatch email is needed. I also suppose if you orderd an out of stock item then a despatch email would be sent, when it came into stock, and your card not charged till the item was despatched.
I'm in the UK so shipping usually takes 2-3 days. Just got 2 pairs of Giordana bib tights for winter off them, so I'm looking forward to some cold weather to give a good test!
